We were very impressed by two things: 1) The great organization and depth that has gone into creating My Friends including the curriculum, the atmosphere and general learning environment. 2) Natalie's obvious love of the children she cares for and her commitment to their growth and well-being.
I saw a professional, school like atmosphere. We were welcome to [come] anytime and Natalie has a very gentle, kind way with all the children. It's very high quality care in a Christian environment.
My Friends was referred by a family member whose opinion was valued very much. We really liked the idea of a Christian environment for our kids. We also really liked the 'schoolroom' set up. We also liked the structured schedule throughout the day. The best thing of all, is that we had no idea of what a great place it really is, and continues to be on a weekly basis.
Our son warmed up to Natalie very quickly. We interviewed with many day cares and felt that My Friends had the most to offer in teaching morals, proper playing, good discipline, socialization skills, rule playing (taking turns, playing fair) and Christian values. A lot of respect and love for the children and the job of caregiver are evident.
