DEVELOPMENTALLY APPROPRIATE PRACTICE (DAP) Helping children achieve learning goals by meeting them at their developmental level as individuals and part of a group. CHILD DEVELOPMENT Seeking, understanding, and implementing reliable research in young children's learning and growth.
